Drama Sederhana Bahasa Inggris

Hello..kesempatan kali ini saya ingin berbagi penulisan tentang drama sederhana Bahasa Inggris. Drama Bahasa Inggris ini pernah saya gunakan pada saat ujian praktek SMA bersama tim saya. Sebenarnya tulisan kali ini semata-mata untuk memenuhi tugas softskill mata kuliah Matematika & Ilmu Alamiah Dasar.

The lost children

Hansel and gretel

          Once upon a time a very poor farmer lived in a tiny cottage in the forest with her three children, Hansel, Hazel, and Gretel. Her second husband often ill-treated the children and was forever nagging the woodcutter

Mother: There is not enough food in the house for us all, there are too many mouths to feed.

Step Father: We must get rid of the two brats. Take them miles from home, so far that they can never find their way back! Maybe someone will find them and give them a home.

Mother: No! I will not do that how could I bring myself to abandon my own childrens alone in the forest? Wild animals would soon come and tear  them to pieces.

Step Father: Oh, you fool! Then all five of us will starve. All you can do is to plane the boards for our coffins.

Mother: But I do feel sorry for the poor children.

Step Father: Up to you!

Mother: Okay, I'll do that *sad*

Hazel and Gretel sneaking

Hazel: Don’t worry! If they do leave us in the forest, we’ll find the way home.

Gretel: Sure? Okay.. I believe you.

And as soon as the adults had fallen asleep, he got up, pulled on his jacket, opened the door, and crept outside. Hansel was hungry and went to the kitchen , he found there chips. At moment he got the idea.

Hansel: If I sprinkled chips in along the way, and we can trace for a way home.

Mother: Hey Hansel! What are you doing in midnight?!

Hansel: I just feel hungry mom.

Mother: If you’re finished, go back to your bedroom because tomorrow we are going into the forest to looking for food , okay?

Hansel: Yes mom.

Hansel bent over and filled his jacket pockets with them, as many as would fit. Then he went back into the bedroom

Hansel: Don’t worry, my sisters. Sleep well, God will not forsake us. *Then he went back to bed*

            Morning

Hansel: Gretel take this in your pocket.

Gretel: For what?

Hazel: we've sprinkled chips in along the road when mother took us away into the forest. So come on! We can go to home, Gretel!

Gretel: You’re so clever Hazel!

Mother: Childrens, are you ready?

Hazel: Wait mom..

Mother: Quickly it was already noon!

Hansel: You guys ready?

Hazel and Gretel: Yep!

            Mother lead Hansel, Hazel, and Gretel to the forest

            Gretel drop the chips here and there

Mother: Kids, now stay here. Wait for me to take you out of here ok? *run*

            *Hansel, Hazel, and Gretel stay* nightfall but their mother did not return

Gretel: Hans, Zel, I’m scared... where are we now? And where is mother? I want back to home.

Hazel: *hug Gretel* Don’t scared, trust me! I swear I’ll take you home even if...

Hansel: Mother doesn’t come back for us! Now give me your hand!

Hazel: We’ll get home safely, you’ll see!

Hansel: Gre, you’ve sprinkled the chips in along the road.

Gretel: Yes, I’ve done.

Hazel: You said you sprinkled the chips in along this road?! What is the prove?! Nothing chips in along this road Gretel! you lie to me Gretel!

Gretel: I don’t lie to you Hazel! In this road I …. Oh no! where is the chips?! Hazel sorry, we can’t back to home again. Maybe the birds ate my chips in along the road.

Hazel: Ok, now I’m frightened.

Gretel: Oh damn! What must we do now? I’m cold and hungry and I want to go home!

Hazel: Hold on your hungry Gretel. Let’s walk first, maybe we can find the house of people here.

Hansel: Don’t be afraid. I’m here to look after you!

            Hansel tried to encourage his sisters, but he too shivered when he glimpsed frightening shadows and evil eyes around them in the darkness. All night the two children huddled together for warmth at the foot of a large tree. When dawn broke, they started to wander about the forest, seeking a path, but all hope soon faded. They were well and truly lost. On they walked and walked, till suddenly they came upon a strange cottage in the middle of a glade

Hansel: Look! Look over there! It’s a house!

Gretel: <Crunch.. Crunch..> *Eat little pebbles on the ground*

Hazel: Gre! Stop eating that thing! It might be poison.

Gretel: No! It’s chocolate!

Hansel: And this is icing!

Hazel: Umm... Hans.. Gre.. You sure?

Hansel and Gretel: Of course!

Gretel: Isn’t this delicious?

Hansel: We stay here!

Witch: Well, well! *peering out with a crafty look* And haven't you children a sweet tooth? Come in! Come in, you've nothing to fear!

Gretel: Ahhh, who are you?! *hiding in behind Hansel*

Hansel: Ohh, sorry madam we disturb you. We can’t back to home and we’re hungry. When we walking, we see your cottage and in the front of your cottage we see chocolate on the ground. So we eat that.

Witch: Oh, no problem. You can eat again if you hungry. Are you hungry now? Lets eat more cakes and chocolates inside my house. Come on!

            Went on the witch. Unluckily for Hansel and Gretel, however, the sugar candy cottage belonged to an old witch, her trap for catching unwary victims. The two children had come to a really nasty place

Witch: You're nothing but skin and bones! *the witch locking Hansel into a cage* Eat this!

Hansel: What will you doing to me?!

Witch: I shall fatten you up and going eat you!

Gretel: Let him go witch!

Witch: No! He must in this cage until he fat. And I will eat him. After I eat your brother I will eat you. Ha ha ha ha..

Hazel: You can’t eat us! You can’t!

Witch: Shut up! Clean this room now. This the brooms. Get sweeping now! And you! Eat that foods now!

Hazel and Gretel: *Grimly*

            The next day the witch see Hansel to check if he was getting fatter or not

Witch: Let me see your finger!

Hansel: This.

Gretel had brought her brother a chicken bone

Witch: You’re still much too thin! *disappointed* When will you become plump? Eat again!

Everyday, everytime the witch always looked the Hansel finger. But Hansel wasn’t getting fatter.  One day the witch grew very impatient.  And she want to eat Hansel now

Witch: *read* huh.. I’m tired of waiting! Hey girls! Light the oven please! We’re going to have a tasty roasted boy today!

Hazel and Gretel: Sure madam.

            A little later, hungry and impatient

Witch: Hey you girl! Run and see if the oven is hot enough.

            Gretel returned

Gretel: I can’t tell if it is hot enough or not.

Witch: *scream* Useless child! All right, I’ll see for myself.

But when the witch bent down to peer inside the oven and check the heat, Gretel gave her a tremendous push and slammed the oven door shut.

Witch: Open this door now! It’s very hot in this oven! Open it please! Hot.. Very hot..!

Hazel: Sorry madam, I can’t open it. Come on Gretel we go release our brother. Bye evil witch!

Hazel and Gretel ran to set their brother free. They made quite sure that the oven door was tightly shut behind the witch. Indeed, just to be on the safe side, they fastened it firmly with a large padlock

Gretel: Are we save now? No more evil witch want to eat us?

Hansel and Hazel: Yes, we are save!

Gretel: Horay!

            Hansel, Hazel, and Gretel start dancing around

Hazel: Well we can stay awhile to eat some more of the house.

Hansel: Yes, you are right! After that we can bring some of the food to our home for mom and dad!

Hazel: Yep!

Gretel: Guys, look at this sparkly thing! It’s so pretty! Can I keep them?

Hazel: Oh My God. What this is?

Hansel: This is diamond! We are rich! Horay!

Hazel and Gretel: Horay!

Hazel: The witch is now burnt to a cinder.

Gretel: So we’ll take this treasure with us?

Hansel: Well, umm.. Of course!

They filled a large basket with food and set off into the forest to search for the way home. Hansel lead them to find their way home. This time, luck was with them, and on the second day, they saw their mother come out of the house to looking for them.

Mother: Your step father had left. Come home with me now, my dear children!

The two children hugged his mother

Gretel: Promise you’ll never ever leaving us again?

Mother: I promise!

            Hansel opened the basket

Hansel: Look, Mom! We’re rich now...

Hazel: You’ll never have to work for the farmer again.

Mother: Thanks God, I love you my childrens... Hey childs, whether you've eaten?

Hansel : Oh about food, in the basket there a lot of food, mom.

Mother: Really? Okay, now we go into the house, it warms your body and immediately eat

Hans, Zel, Gre: Okay mom.

            And they all lived happily together ever after
